Standard GMAT/GRE Waiver for the Online MBA Program

SMU Cox values the professional experience our Online MBA candidates bring to the classroom. To acknowledge these accomplishments, we offer a GMAT/GRE/Executive Assessment waiver for qualified applicants. You may be eligible if you have six or more years of relevant work experience or can demonstrate the quantitative knowledge necessary to be successful in a rigorous master’s program. To be considered for the waiver, you must meet one or more of the following:

  • Six or more years of professional work experience demonstrating quantitative ability
  • A terminal degree (eg. JD, PhD or MD) or a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering
  • A Bachelor of Business Administration and six years of professional work experience
